Q. How do I check my email?
A. WildBlue recommends accessing your Wildblue.net e-mail through our webmail powered by Google Gmail. To do so, visit www.wildblue.net to log in. You’ll find webmail to be easy to use and very powerful. You can access your webmail from any Internet connection, even when you are away from home.
Q. Can I use my email software with my WildBlue email address?
A. If you use an email program or client such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Mac Mail or Windows Mail, you will need to configure your settings.
Key Settings
Username: Your complete email address, including the @wildblue.net
POP3 Settings: pop.gmail.com
SMTP Settings: smtp.gmail.com
Port Settings: SSL Checked (make sure it is turned on)
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) port: 465
- Incoming mail (POP3) port: 995

Q. How do I manage my email addresses, add or delete email accounts, or change passwords?
A. Go to www.wildblue.net and click on My Account. You’ll need to log in using your primary email address and password to make changes.
Q. I can surf the Internet but it seems slow. What’s the problem?
A. At the time of installation, your technician should run the WildBlue Optimizer. The optimizer automatically sets your browser to the correct setting for optimal WildBlue performance. For more information about the Optimizer, please click here.
Q. How can I check how much bandwidth I’m using?
A. To keep track of the amount of upstream and downstream bandwidth you’re using during a 30-day rolling window, you can check your usage. You will need your primary wildblue.net email address and password to log in to view your usage data:
