WildBlue and AT&T Extend Operating Agreement

Denver, Colorado?WildBlue Communications, Inc. today announced that AT&T (NYSE:T) has expanded its AT&T Yahoo! ® Broadband via Satellite (Provided by WildBlue) throughout its 22-state wireline footprint.  WildBlue provides high-speed Internet connectivity via satellite to homes and small businesses in communities where terrestrial broadband access is either limited or unavailable.

The satellite-based broadband offering today builds on an initial announcement made in May 2006.  Over the last year, AT&T and WildBlue have worked closely to increase capacity and expand access to more customers. This service expansion substantially increases availability of AT&T Yahoo! Broadband via Satellite (provided by WildBlue) to areas not addressed in AT&T?s previous launch to residential customers in AT&T?s traditional 13-state service territory.

?This past year has been a very exciting time for us at WildBlue, and with our new satellite, WildBlue-1, we?re now able to add many more customers who have been waiting for a high-speed broadband service to be available in their areas,? said David Leonard, CEO of WildBlue.  ?This expanded availability further supports our relationship with AT&T, and we look forward together to making broadband Internet access available to more customers nationwide.?

?Since we began offering high speed Internet service, our goal has been to make the benefits of broadband available to every home and business in our service footprint,? said Rick Welday, chief marketing officer of AT&T Consumer. ?From traditional wireline broadband to satellite-broadband service, our focus continues to be on widescale deployment and availability in both rural and suburban communities alike, where consumers are eager for broadband access,? said Welday.

The WildBlue service, under the WildBlue brand name, will continue to be available through participating National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative Members, retail dealers, and other service partners.

An always-on broadband Internet connection, WildBlue?s service offers access speeds that are up to thirty times faster than dial-up.  WildBlue's two-way wireless service provides high-speed data in both directions, upstream and downstream.  Customers do not need an additional phone or cable line in order to receive satellite broadband Internet access.
