WildBlue Names Gary S. Howard to Board of Directors

Denver, Colorado - WildBlue Communications, Inc. today announced that Gary S. Howard has joined the company?s Board of Directors.

 

Mr. Howard, retired Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Liberty Media Corporation, has over twenty years of experience in the cable television, satellite and telecommunications industries.  Prior to joining Liberty Media Corporation, Mr. Howard served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TCI Ventures Group and TCI Satellite Entertainment, later known as Liberty Satellite & Technology (LSAT).  He began his telecommunications career at United Cable Television in 1984, and joined TCI in 1991 as Senior Vice President in charge of Mergers and Acquisitions.  Mr. Howard also serves as a member of EchoStar Corporation?s Board of Directors.
